Leaked: EA Sports accidentally reveals the NHL 25 cover athletes

Many fans get excited around this time of year as EA sports usually drops the trailer for their new installment of the EA Sports NHL video game, but this year it was accidentally revealed early.
Yesterday via the EA Sports NHL Youtube page, they dropped their first teaser trailer, but the catch was it wasn't supposed to be released until August 22nd, 2024. The three Hughes brothers were the principle players in the trailer and fans are speculating that the 3 are potentially this years cover athletes for the 34th installment of the game.
Strang shared the full trailer on his X account which showed that Vancouver Canucks captain Quinn Hughes, along with his brothers Jack and Luke Hughes of the New Jersey Devils, will be the cover athletes for EA Sports NHL 25.
Per Noah Strang of the Daily Hive, he was able to record and get screenshots of the trailer which he has posted on social media for everyone to see.

NHL 25 typically has one athelte on the cover, but this year they have decdied to go with 3, this will be the first time since the video game NHLPA Hockey '93 that there will be three cover athletes where they had Rod Brind'Amour, Mike Richter and Randy Moller. Most notably, this will be the very first time that the game will feature brothers all together to be on the cover of an EA Sports NHL game.
The official release of the "first trailer will be dropped on August 22nd, 2024 at 11:00am ET.
