Sean Avery back in the news and for not good reasons

It was revealed on social media that Sean Avery spent his first ever paycheck on something that not many athlete's would admit to.
Per hockeyforeverhq on Instagram, NHL players were asked what they bought with their first ever paycheck and Avery's answer was very surprising, well, not actually because it is Sean Avery.
Most players said they bought a car, house or helped family members, but not Sean Avery, he said he bought illegal drugs.
Sean Avery played 580 career NHL games, accumulating 90 goals and 157 assists for 247 points. He was more well known for his "colorful" interviews, off ice drama and being one of the most notorious pests the league has ever had.
