The Boston Bruins have the top goalie duo of Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark on their NHL roster as well as several top goaltender prospects. Their affiliate, the Providence Bruins, also had a top goaltending duo of Brandon Bussi and Michael DiPietro in the AHL.
The Bruins also have another top goaltending prospect in the Western Hockey League for the Swift Current Broncos and that is Reid Dyck. The Bruins have to make a decision with Reid Dyck or he could walk fairly soon.
The Bruins may be moving on from Linus Ullmark so Brandon Bussi could be Jeremey Swayman's backup come next season. However, Bussi and DiPietro are both looking for new contracts as they are restricted free agents.
The Bruins have been developing several talented goaltenders as of late and Dyck is trending in the right direction. However, Dyck is due a new contract as well - which would be his entry level contract. If the Bruins cannot come to agreement with Dyck by June 1st, then he could walk and the Bruins could lose their goaltending prospect and received nothing in return.
