After having a great first year back since coming back from major surgery, Patrick Kane is set to be one of the top free agents available this off-season.
Kane's agent Pat Brisson is set to meet with Red Wings GM Steve Yzerman later this week to discuss a new contract.
It appears that if Kane decides to go elsewhere next season the next team in line after Detroit is the Bruins.
Since the Bruins have a ton of cap space and a promising lineup, they have a serious chance at landing the former Stanley Cup champion.
Kane had a great season despite his age and recent surgery as he put up 47 points in 50 games with the Red Wings this season.
