In tragic news, it was confirmed today that the father of Hall-of-Famer <a href='https://www.markerzone.com/hockey/stats/nhl/player/Pavel-Bure-30' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Pavel Bure</a> has passed away after drowning due to suffering a cardiac arrest in the ocean. <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/eurohockey/status/1831276724224430150'> </a></blockquote></div> <a href='https://olympics.com/en/athletes/vladimir-bure' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Vladimir Bure was a great athlete in his own right, he won 4 Olympic medals in swimming (1 silver, 3 bronze)</a>.
