Insiders suggest that, in addition to the long-standing interest from the Montreal Canadiens, three other teams have entered the picture as possible suitors for Dubois. According to NHLTR, a news report highlighted the potential connection between Dubois and the Bruins. It stated:

"The Bruins have a pressing need for reinforcements down the middle and will be seeking fresh faces in the upcoming season. Dubois would seamlessly fit into Boston's lineup, easily sliding into one of the top-six roles. However, an obstacle could be what the Bruins have to offer in return. The Jets, reportedly aiming to retool rather than undergo a full rebuild, may have interest in acquiring Jake DeBrusk."

While the Carolina Hurricanes and Detroit Red Wings are also reportedly in the mix for Dubois, his track record raises concerns. Having already requested two trades during his six seasons in the NHL, the young center is now reportedly seeking a hefty $9 million contract.

Each team brings unique needs and assets to the table, making them intriguing trade partners for the Jets. However, the Bruins face the challenge of making the salary cap work in a potential deal.
