Following a potentially dangerous hit on a Devils forward during Saturday's game in Boston, Brad Marchand may face scrutiny from the NHL's Player Safety Department.

While Michael McLeod was moving the puck out of his zone, he seemed to be on the receiving end of a high hit from Marchand. See the incident here:
Based on various reports, McLeod exited the game disoriented and bleeding, but the referees did not penalize Marchand for the hit. Matt Porter from the Boston Globe implied that it was an ill-advised move from Marchand.
