The World Juniors Championship has become Team Canada's playground of late. The team that the Bruins loaned Prospect Matt Poitras to has been dominant through the first two games, each of which Poitras has scored a goal. The most recent game saw Canada destroy Latvia 10-0. Poitras, wearing the «A» for team Canada scored in this game and is a +3 overall in the tournament.
Bruins fans were awakened by the team calling up much anticipated prospect Georgii Merkulov this morning, and now they can think about a line up featuring both of these young stars in Poitras and Merkulov, playing alongside stars like Pastrnak and Marchand.
