Imagine having your childhood fantasies turn into reality! That's precisely the experience of Jackson Edward, chosen by the Bruins as the 200th overall pick in the 2022 Draft.
Hailing from Newmarket, Ontario, this defenseman didn't grow up rooting for the Maple Leafs. Instead, Edward's heart belonged to the black and gold, making this an absolute dream come true for the 18-year-old.
Fulfilling a Lifelong Dream
The young player shared his excitement about being selected by his all-time favourite team:
''Boston was my favorite team growing upI liked Chara when I was younger and then Marchand became my favorite player.''
