Shortly after top defensive prospect Mason Lohrei joined the Providence Bruins on an ATO, another promising player has done the same, this time a forward.
Providence Inks Kuntar
Mark Divver from the New England Hockey Journal reported that Trevor Kuntar has agreed to an amateur tryout contract.
''As expected, BC's Trevor Kuntar signs ATO with Providence.''
The 21-year-old Kuntar scored 13 goals and provided 16 assists in 34 games with Boston College this season. Over his three-year NCAA career, he totalled 28 goals and 31 assists in 93 games.
Kuntar's signing with Providence comes a week after he signed his entry-level contract with Boston.
Hailing from the State of New York, Kuntar was originally picked in the third round (89th overall) by the Bruins at the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
