The Bruins announced last week that at the end of this year's Stanley Cup Playoffs beloved play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards will be retiring.
In the past few days there has been speculation that his replacement will be John Forslund who was the announcer for the Seattle Kraken this season.
However, the Kraken announced yesterday that Forslund will be returning to Seattle meaning that the Bruins will have to keep looking for a potential replacement.
Despite reports that PxP announcer John Forslund might be leaving #SEAKraken to replace Jack Edwards in Boston, it has been confirmed that he will be staying with Seattle next season, as the team shifts to free, over-the-air broadcasts of their games.
The Bruins will have to find someone rather quickly as options are slowly running out.
