Game 1 of the playoffs against the Leafs is approaching and no one is more excited than defenseman Andrew Peeke as he will be playing in his first NHL playoff game.
Peeke spoke on how excited he is and that he has watched the playoffs every year since he was a kid. He also added that he has heard from veteran teammates on what to expect such as an increase in physicality and intensity.

"Definitely a lot of excitement. Obviously I've watched it on TV all of these years. Just hearing from the guys what to expect — take it game by game, day by day. Physicality ramps up, the intensity, everything like that."
The 26 year-old defenseman is in his third full season in the NHL but has yet to play in the playoffs because during his time with the Blue Jackets, they were never able to make it in.
