Bruins complete surprising player transaction
Bruins GM Don Sweeney announced this morning that the team have decided to send forward Johnny Beecher down to Providence and has brought up Jayson Megna.
This is an interesting decision as Beecher has been playing very well on the fourth line regardless of his lack of scoring. On the other hand, Megna is a AHL veteran who has been playing very well this season with 18 goals and 51 points.
Bruins Recall Jayson Megna; Loan John Beecher to Providence
Megna has been up and down between the NHL and AHL his entire career but has yet to play for the Bruins this season. It will be interesting to see how he does with the Bruins if he gets any playing time.
