The Bruins drafted Trent Frederic in the 1st round of the 2016 draft and while he has taken a few years to develop, he has finally become a difference maker for the Bruins.

The St. Louis native had a great season last year with 31 points in 79 games, achieving career highs in all categories in his 3rd full season with this team.

Frederic has now taken another big step in his career as he has surpassed last year's numbers with 18 goals, 21 assists and 39 points in 73 games. He will likely finish the season with 20 goals and more than 40 points which is a huge accomplishment for a 3rd line player.

Regardless of the fact that he has been putting up solid numbers this year, Frederic's game is a huge plus for the Bruins as he is reliable at both ends of the ice and plays a hard game.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for the 26-year-old as things seem to be getting better every year.
