Yesterday, Jack Edwards decided to shock all Bruins fans by announcing that he will be stepping down as the Bruins commentator at the end of the playoffs.
The legendary commentator has spent the last 20 years calling the Bruins game and the team decided to honor him prior to the game against the Senators last night.

Edwards mentioned in his retirement speech that he does not want to step down but has to because his health has been keeping him from calling games the way he wants to.
Although the Bruins community is saddened by this news, everyone wishes Jack nothing but the best in retirement.
