Bruins Usual Goalie Rotation Coming to an End
The Bruins have been more or less alternating goalies every game between Swayman and Ullmark this season which has worked for them but according to Montgomery this may be coming to an end.
As they approach the playoffs, they want to let each goalie play a few games in a row and see if they can go on a run. This will be important to see who they can rely on come playoff time.«At some point, we might want to see someone play three games in a row. That's kind of what we've discussed,»
It is important for the Bruins to do this because the post-season is a different beast, just because they split the net all year does not mean they will do the same in the playoffs.
It will be interesting to see who the Bruins decide to ride with come playoff time, if the decide to play the hot hand or alternate as they have done all season.
