In the Bruins loss to the Blues, Justin Brazeau scored a goal that was overturned after the refs reviewed it.

The goal was called off because apparently the play was offside to which many fans say it doesn't seem to make sense since Krug played it back into his zone.

Part of Rule 83.1 in the NHL rulebook. It doesn't say Krug would've needed possession. I would think that what he did qualifies as "plays the puck back into his own defending zone."
