Ex-Bruin Chris Wagner made his mark on the NHL after being recalled from the AHL to perform for the Colorado Avalanche during the most recent game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Wagner's time with the Providence Bruins was marked by consistent performances and a willingness to do whatever it took to help the team succeed. His ability to play a physical game while also chipping in offensively made him a valuable asset in the lineup.

Fans were sharing Wagner's well-deserved excitement as he scored his first goal in the NHL since the 2020-2021 season, after deflecting a shot from Sean Walker.

Wagner made a mark on Boston over the years after wearing the Bruins colors from 2018 to 2022, where he eventually played the majority of his later career with Providence. Although most of his time with Colorado has been in the AHL (similar to his recent time spent with the Bruins), Wagner has a total of 10 games alongside Colorado in the NHL this season, with 1 goal and 1 assist.
