During the broadcast of the Stanley Cup Finals, Wayne Gretzky took a shot at Bruins legend Patrice Bergeron.
Bergeron is known for being one of the best two way forwards of all-time but not according to the Great One. Gretzky said that Alexander Barkov is the best defensive forward he has seen since Bryan Trottier.
"No. 16 is the best defensive hockey player I've seen since Bryan Trottier." - Wayne Gretzky
Aleksander Barkov was humbled to hear the Great One's comments about him during Game 1 yesterday.
Either Gretzky completely forgot about Bergeron or he truly believes Barkov is a better defensive forward.
