Following the game 6 loss, Bruins head coach Jim Montgomery told the media that he needs David Pastrnak to step up and play better.
Following this statement, it was revelead that Montgomery had spoken to Pasta prior to talking to the media telling him the same thing.
Montgomery told the media that he spoke with Pastrnak during the game and after it regarding his recent play, adding that the two have a very strong and healthy relationship.
Montgomery on how Pastrnak received the message about stepping up: "I talked to him right after the game about it. I talked to him about it during the game. Pasta and I have a real healthy, communicative relationship, and he's ready to go."
Hopefully Montgomery is right and we will see the Pastrnak we are used to in game 7 as the Bruins desperately need him to have his best game of the series.
