JVR's recent lack of scoring may result in him being sidelined

Over 70 games, the native of New Jersey has notched 11 goals, accumulated 38 points, and maintained a plus-7 rating.

Nevertheless, as the season progressed, the veteran winger's offensive output waned. March proved to be a particularly challenging month for van Riemsdyk, as he grappled with a prolonged illness that inevitably affected his performance and stamina. However, his decline in offensive production was evident even before falling ill.
