The Leafs recently fired their head coach Sheldon Keefe after 5 season where he was only able to make it past the first round once.
Toronto is now on the hunt for a new head coach which looks like it will be Craig Berube but there seems to be interest in former Bruins legend Marc Savard as an assistant coach as well. Reports have come out that Savard is headed to Toronto to meet with the team.

Savard was on the 2011 Stanley Cup winning team and played in Boston for 5 seasons including a 96 point season in 2006-07.
