Major: Hanifin Has disclosed His Preferred Landing Spot

Noah Hanifin has been the center of trade discussion as he is the biggest defensemen on the trading block before the deadline. Bruins fans have been hoping that Sweeney will be able to bring the Boston native home and sign him for the next few years.

Unfortunately, Elliotte Friedman announced yesterday that there are rumblings that Hanifin would prefer to end up in Tampa than come home to Boston. This is bad news for the Bruins that could really use help on the back-end by landing a star defensemen.

"Well, first of all, in Tampa, there is definitely a feeling that that is Noah Hanifin's preferred destination, and that is Tampa Bay."

The biggest hope for the Bruins is that the Lightning do no have any high-end picks for the upcoming draft just like the Bruins, the Flames are supposedly looking for a first rounder in exchange for Hanifin. Both teams will have to package players instead of picks in a trade offer which means it will come down to who can put together the better trade package.
