Pat Maroon is scheduled to make his first appearance for the Bruins against the Pittsburgh Penguins this Saturday.
The forward participated fully in Friday's practice, skating on the fourth line's right wing alongside Jesper Boqvist and Jakub Lauko, and confirmed his spot in the lineup.
"Obviously we're playing a Pittsburgh team that's trying to get in the playoffs," Maroon commented. "So, it's a good start for me. Gets me ready for the playoffs here."
Maroon underwent back surgery in early February, spending the last 10 weeks in recovery. Acquired by the Bruins from the Minnesota Wild on March 8, he tallied 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) and accrued 60 penalty minutes in 49 games with the Wild this season.
