Nikita Zadorov blasts the Canucks in heated defense of Elias Lindholm

New Boston Bruins Defenceman, Nikita Zadorov takes a shot at his former team, the Vancouver Canucks to defend his friend and teammate Elias Lindholm.
Going into this years free-agency, Elias Lindholm was one of the most sought after top line centers, even with his drop in numbers in 2023-2024.
Vancouver Media addressed Elias Lindholm's lack of production in Vancouver, even though he played extremely well in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Nikita Zadorov came to his teammates defense.
"It's a new opportunity for him. He got traded to Vancouver, he kind of didn't play the role he fits, I feel like. So in here, I feel like he can come back to his version when he was in Calgary with top line, top penalty kill and everything"
This was a subtle shot at Vancouver's head coach, Rick Tocchet, saying he wasn't utilized like he should be and put in situations that fits his game. He goes on to say that this year with Boston will be a comeback year for Lindholm, saying the Bruins system will be a perfect fit.
