Van Riemsdyk might be scratched for game 1
Bruins Forward James van Riemsdyk has been struggling all season long which may cost him a spot in the lineup for game 1 of the playoffs.
JVR started the year off on a solid pace but has been struggling as of late. The 34 year-old got sick in March and has been struggling with only 1 point in his last 10 games while also missing a few games due to illness.«I usually pride myself on not being sick too often. It definitely took a lot out of me,» - van Riemsdyk
If JVR continues to struggle, it will be hard for Montgomery to keep him in the lineup with so many talented players on their team and AHL roster looking to take his place. Van Riemsdyk currently has 38 points in 67 games this season with the Bruins.
