Bruins Legend Officially Joins Coaching Staff
The Columbus Blue Jackets have added Mark Recchi to their coaching staff as an assistant coach. Recchi, an NHL veteran, brings extensive hockey experience, having played 10 seasons and coached for five years with the Penguins and Devils.
Head Coach Pascal Vincent expressed excitement, saying,
"Mark Recchi has been part of the NHL for over three decades and brings incredible experience to our staff. He's a Hall of Fame player who won three Stanley Cups, making him a great resource for our players."
Recchi's playing career spanned 1,652 games, with seven All-Star appearances and three Stanley Cup wins. He joined coaching and served as a senior adviser with the Dallas Stars and contributed to the Penguins' 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup victories. His ownership of the Kamloops Blazers adds to his hockey expertise, making him a valuable addition to the Blue Jackets' coaching staff.
