John Tortorella is known around the hockey world as being an old-school type coach, he has gotten less intense over the years but in moments such as the other night, you can still see that fire in him.
A few nights ago, fans saw Tortorella yelling at rookie Bobby Brink after he made a bad play in their game against the Capitals. The video has started to make its way online, fans have now been saying that Torts went too hard on the rookie and they want the NHLPA to take action.
Many have been saying online that Tortorella took things way too far but hockey is an intense sport played with passion and emotion which is what was displayed here. Asking for the NHLPA to get involved is too extreme of a demand, when all that happened was a head coach showing a high level of emotion in his disappointment with one of his players.
