Calgary Flames player has been traded
After several weeks of speculation and rumours on the web, the trade has been done and the Flames have traded Chris Tanev to the Dallas Stars. This has been confirmed by several league sources including NHL insider and dailyfaceoff.com CEO Frank Seravalli,
The Flames will walk away with a 2nd round pick , a conditional pick and a prospect. This is another step in GM Craig Conroy's remodelling of the Flames and will be expected to be busy in the coming days.
This deal will be great for the Stars as he will shore up their blueline in an effort to make a push for the Cup this season.
