The Habs player is expected to receive a huge suspension

As the Canadiens were heading towards a win against the Islanders, leading 3-1 with eight minutes left in the 3rd period, Brendan Gallagher delivered a completely unnecessary, dirty, and gratuitous hit on Adam Pelech.

Gallagher deserves a multi-game suspension. It was a direct check to the head, even though the player no longer had the puck.


This isn't the first time Gallagher has received a penalty late in the game. At the time of writing, the Islanders have already scored two goals to tie the game at 3-3, and there's still time left in the major penalty.
