BREAKING: NHL has Given Charlie Coyle a Punishment for his Cross-Check

The Bruins and Leafs went toe-to-toe two nights ago in true old school battle and multiple fines were handed out.

Bruins Charlie Coyle was one of the players punished for his actions as he cross-checked former Bruins Tyler Bertuzzi in the head.

NHL player safety department has decided to fine Coyle the maximum penalty under the CBA which is $5,000 for the play.

"Boston's Charlie Coyle has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for cross-checking Toronto's Tyler Bertuzzi."
