Major news regarding Jack Edwards has been released
Jack Edwards took to social media this afternoon to announce his retirement as Bruins commentator at the end of this season.

W/ "gratefulness" & "a heavy heart" Jack Edwards announces his retirement from broadcasting at the end of this season: "I am no longer able to attain the standards I set for myself, to honor the fans, the players, the Bruins organization and NESN with the best they all deserve.»
This news comes as a big surprise as Edwards has stated multiple times that regardless of is health issues he had no plan on stepping down.
Edwards has been commentating Bruins games since 2005 and will surely be greatly missed by all hockey fans for his hot takes and great calls.
The entire Bruins community wishes Edwards a great retirement and thanks him for bringing the fans years of joy.
