Lately the Bruins have proven the power behind their blue line. It comes as no surprise that it has gotten even more potential success after Andrew Peeke played his first game for the Bruins. The question is; How will Jim Montgomery go about his decisions and strategies for the Bruins' blue line for the rest of the season?

"Jim Montgomery will have a simple methodology when it comes to who starts on the blue line for the Bruins."

"Everything is gonna be earned," announced head coach Jim Montgomery. "He played well last game, showed a lot of good stuff, so he's earned the right to play the next game. We have eight defensemen right now and that's the way it's gonna be."

Montgomery's simplistic approach to deciding his lineups seems too obvious to be true; "You play well, you stay in the lineup." These words from Montgomery resonate with fans as it is a tried and true way to continue forth to victory.

Peeke will be included in the lineup in tonight's upcoming game versus the Flyers. Considering his most recent performance for the Columbus Blue Jackets (1 goal and 7 assists in 23 games), Montgomery believes he will bring some welcomed ability against the Flyers. Mason Lohrei Kevin Shattenkirk will reportedly be scratches for the night.

Fans are additionally very excited to see the start of NHL veteran Pat Maroon's career with the Bruins and how that will affect the Bruins fourth line. Maroon's most recent statistics show 49 games with the Minnesota Wild. where he accumulated 4 goals and 12 assists for 16 points. It is easy to say that expectations around the three-time Stanley Cup champion are quite high, and quite confident.
