In an historic moment, the NHL is on the brink of witnessing a groundbreaking event tonight. Jessica Campbell, the assistant coach of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, will step into the spotlight as she joins the coaching ranks of the Seattle Kraken for their clash with the Calgary Flames.

#SeaKraken will welcome @Firebirds assistant coach, Jessica Campbell behind the bench tonight at @ClimateArena for the matchup against Calgary.

She is believed to be the first woman to coach an NHL game.
