New Frontrunner for Goal of the Year!

Published February 21, 2024 at 9:37

The NHL is bursting at the seams with skill. The new faster and more skilled game than the days of old makes for some highlight reel plays. Quinton Byfield may have surpassed any other with his incredible goal last night for the Kings against the Blue Jackets:

Byfield isn't necessarily known for lighting up the scoreboard, with a respectable 18 goals, 24 assists and 42 points this year he has been a bright spot for the Upstart Kings.

The goal shows that it's not always the superstars of the NHL that can fill the highlight reel, with hands and speed like Byfield displayed, it can come from anywhere at any time. In our opinion, this is the current frontrunner for Goal of the Year!
