The Colorado Avalanche confirmed Friday night that a trade had been finalized with the Seattle Kraken. Tomas Tatar will be joining the Kraken in exchange for a 5th-round draft pick.
"We have acquired a fifth-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for forward Tomas Tatar."
Tatar, possessing ample experience, is anticipated to infuse a scoring finesse into the struggling Kraken lineup. The Avalanche determined they could manage without Tatar, opting to secure a 5th-round pick in return.
