Oddsmakers might be overlooking Hampus Lindholm's chances at claiming the 2024 Norris Trophy, despite his impressive 2023 performance. Lindholm, a Boston Bruins defenseman, is listed at 100-1 odds, despite receiving 12 first-place votes and a fourth-place finish in last year's Norris Trophy race. Meanwhile, his teammate Charlie McAvoy isn't much higher at 16/1.

The top contenders for the 2024 Norris Trophy include Cale Makar, the 2022 winner, with 5-2 odds, Adam Fox, the 2021 recipient, at 7-1, and Rasmus Dahlin at 8-1.
Lindholm had a stellar season, notching ten goals and 43 assists in 80 games, while McAvoy rebounded from early setbacks to finish strong.
The last Bruins defenseman to capture the Norris Trophy was Zdeno Chara in 2009.
