Upon a goal being scored, Jim Montgomery was seen yelling at McAvoy while seated on the bench.

The Bruins had a prime chance to extend their lead on Saturday night, but an expensive error rejuvenated the Penguins.
Boston was ahead 4-2 against Pittsburgh early in the third period while on a power play. Attempting to create an opportunity from the blue line just 40 seconds into the man advantage, the Bruins were thwarted by a turnover from Charlie McAvoy, allowing the Penguins to counterattack. Lars Eller provided a superb pass to Logan O'Connor, who outmaneuvered Brad Marchand and scored past Linus Ullmark's glove side, narrowing the gap to one goal.
Following the goal, Jim Montgomery was seen yelling at McAvoy while seated on the bench. However, post-game, as the Bruins secured a 6-4 victory, the head coach disclosed that McAvoy wasn't the sole target of his frustration.
"It wasn't just Charlie," Montgomery said to reporters, per The Athletic. "It was me giving it to everybody on the power play. There was just no cohesion. The passing was off. I didn't like the effort getting back after the turnover by everybody."

It's clear why Montgomery was so passionate. As the Bruins approach the final stretch of their preparations for the Stanley Cup playoffs, deviating from good habits can pose risks at this crucial stage of the season.
Boston aims to refine their performance in the remaining two games of the season. They'll face the Washington Capitals on Monday before hosting the Ottawa Senators on Tuesday.
