The Boston Bruins send defenseman Mason Lohrei to Providence

The General Manager of the Boston Bruins, Don Sweeney, revealed in a press statement that Boston has reassigned Mason Lohrei to Providence.
Before the move, Jim Montgomery informed reporters that the team had considered the option of sending Lohrei down to
"gain some playing time."
The 23-year-old had mostly been a healthy scratch in the majority of Boston's recent games.

Boston has three regular-season games remaining as they prepare for a clash against the Penguins on Saturday, airing on ABC.
