Bruins Make Surprising Roster Transaction

Johnny Beecher recently signed a contract extension with Providence. Questions about his potential were up in the air, and fans have been wondering for some time what will happen in regards to his potential appearances for the NHL team. Well, they now have at least somewhat of an answer; Beecher has been recalled to the Bruins, on an emergency basis. Beecher was spotted on monday night warming up with the team.

Beecher currently has 17 games played alongside Providence after being demoted to the AHL by the Bruins. After the demotion, he has accumulated 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points. Johnny Beecher seems to be a chess piece being moved all over the board, and only time will tell if this promising young player has what it takes to stay. What can be stated is the fact that he has been officially recalled by the Bruins and was seen on the ice with them, he seems to be moving in the right direction for a kind of personal redemption.
