Bruins blueliner Matt Grzelcyk has been in the middle of a lot of trade talk lately, the 30 year-old's 4 year-12.75 million dollars contract is expiring at the end of the season and there seems to be no talk of an extension.

Grzelcyk has spent his entire life in Boston, he grew in the area then decided to play college hockey at Boston University where the Bruins drafted him in 2012 and he has spent his entire career with the team, so far.

The Bruins defenseman was asked about all the rumors surrounding him to which he said no matter the situation, unless you have a no move clause in your contract, every player stresses this time of year. He claims he is trying not to worry about it and play his game but sometimes that is a hard task to accomplish.

"Every year, no matter what situation you're in — unless you have a no-movement clause or anything in your contract — it does give you a little bit of anxiety."

"I love being here. I love being a Bruin. You never want that to end. I try not to dwell on it too much for sure. Just worry about your play. But I'd be lying if I said those thoughts don't creep in."

Matt Grzelcyk has 7 points in 45 games this season and has been struggling lately which could be why the Bruins will decide not to give him an extension and deal him before the deadline.
